Fruit Cake

Ingredients

  • 500 g cherries, apricots or strawberries

    The fruits are optional.
  • 8 eggs
  • 16 Tbsp sugar

  • 16 Tbsp plain flour

  • 1/2 cup oil

    (10 tablespoons)
  • lemon peel and oranges

  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar

  • 1/2 sachets baking powder
  • aromatic essences

Instructions

  • Separate the egg yolks and beat them with the sugar until they have a dense consistency.
  • Mix the yolks with the oil, then with the milk and vanilla essence, then gradually pour over the white foam.
  • Gently incorporate the mixture, then add in several stages the flour mixed with baking powder.
  • Blend the composition well and pour it into a tray lined with baking paper.
  • The fruits cleaned of the seeds are rolled a little through the flour or sprinkled over their vanilla sugar, so as not to leave at the bottom of the tray.
  • Place the fruit over the countertop composition. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes

Notes

Powder with vanilla powdered sugar and serve with appetite!
