Baked Pumpkin Pie

An easy recipe for Homemade Pumpkin Pie.

Ingredients

  • 450 g flour
  • 10 tbsp milk
  • 10 tbsp sugar
  • 10 tbsp oil
  • 1 vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • salt

For filling

  • 1 kg pumpkin
  • 100 g cinnamon to taste

Instructions

  • Clean the pumpkin and then give it through the grater. Add the grated pumpkin in a saucepan, along with the sugar and cinnamon and heat the composition until all the juice has evaporated, for about 20 minutes.
  • To prepare the sheets for the cake, pour the milk, oil and sugar in a saucepan and mix until the sugar has melted and the composition gives a boil. After it has cooled, pour the composition into a bowl, over which you then lay the egg, vanilla essence, baking soda and salt and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Begin to gradually turn the flour and mix with a spoon, until the dough begins to thicken. Then you can mix with your hand,  when you get a homogeneous dough that does not stick. Knead the dough into a ball and cut it into two equal halves, which you will spread into thin sheets. Put the first dough sheet in a tray lined with baking paper and cut the excess dough on the edges
  • Pour the composition of baked pumpkin, over which you will put the other sheet of dough, taking care to cut the excess dough on the edges.
  • Then grease with a little beaten egg and place the cake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30-40 minutes.
